Vine Living is hiring 4 Female Carer-Drivers to join our heartfelt team across South Oxfordshire. Starting at £16 per hour — one of the highest rates in the area.
About the Role
As a Female Carer-Driver at Vine Living, you will provide personalised home care and transport support to our clients across Didcot, Abingdon, Wantage, Wallingford and the surrounding areas. You will be the friendly, trusted face our clients rely on — helping them live independently and with dignity in their own homes.
This role combines personal care with driving clients to appointments, shopping trips, social outings and medical visits. Your own transport and a clean driving licence are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing personal care — washing, dressing, grooming and medication support
- Transporting clients safely to appointments, hospital visits, shopping and outings
- Preparing meals and supporting daily routines
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke recovery and complex needs
- Completing care records accurately and communicating with the office team
What We’re Looking For
- Female applicants only — this is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, to meet the needs and preferences of our female clients
- Minimum 2 years driving experience with a full, clean UK driving licence
- Your own reliable vehicle (mileage paid)
- A warm, compassionate and professional approach
- Previous care experience preferred but not essential — full training provided
- Enhanced DBS check required (we cover the cost)
- Right to work in the UK
